This is a technology course; however, I truly appreciate morning devotions and prayer. Out of the gate this morning, devotion time was right on target and met several spiritual needs I had. I needed to hear the encouragement to and steps for casting our cares upon Him who is able. Additionally, I needed to be reminded to choose joy during difficult times. Furthermore, I needed the reminder to be thankful in all things. That' is a tough one. Having the peace of God is vital for Believers to have the abundant life the Lord desires for us.
A refresher on audio recordings was interesting. The difference between not using a headset for recording audio versus using a headset for recordings was quite clear. I plan to make multiple recordings using my laptop microphone and other headsets, including a bluetooth headset, to compare sound quality. I am eager to try editing a few audio files!
I have used Windows Movie Maker to edit and enhance my own videos in the past, but I had not added images and audio to movies. Additionally, I did not understand about processing time for inserting video clips. In the past, I thought i had inserted an incorrect file format. I would scrap the project and start over. Now I know I simply need a bit more patience.
Overall, this week has been very beneficial for me. Enjoying technology as much as I do made the content exciting. Meeting and getting to know members of my group was a blessing. I am thankful for our LUO family!
