EDUC 730 - Tuesday Reflections

Today's class was very beneficial for me.  Although I have previous experience with EndNote and Webquests, I learned several new things today.  I learned some additional features of EndNote and ideas for analyzing available webquests.  In EndNote, I was glad to learn how to attach pdfs to resources, how to highlight within attachments, and how to edit titles within the reference information to match APA format.  For webquests, looking at  "non" webquests proved valuable.  Seeing examples of "webquests" that had broken links, no use of the Internet, or no true quest was eye opening and beneficial for building my own webquests.  I really appreciated the opportunity to explore other webquest sites, since I had only used QuestGarden.com in the past.  Each day, the more I learn, the more I realize there is much I do not know!

On a personal note, I am enjoying our group time.  Getting to know Shantel, Michael, and Nichole has been fun and interesting.  I truly appreciate each of them and what they bring to our group.  Spending time praying with them and lifting one another up in the Lord touches me like no other collaborative group I have ever experienced.

I would be remiss if I did not mention how much I am enjoying learning from other members of our class.  Hearing about other school situations and learning from others is a treasure.  I am so thankful for this LU time together!
