Ed Tech

More Ed Tech info to come...

OK, here goes!   I am a virtual public school teacher.  I am connected all the time!  I left home for choir practice last night and forgot my cell phone.  I could not believe it!  It's always with me!  Oh, well!

I am upgrading to a DROID 3.  The package should arrive tomorrow!  Can't wait!  I have waited for long months to upgrade. My Omnia has been great!  I sync my calendar between my work and personal laptops through my phone (and Google Calendar Sync).  I have four different email accounts tied to my Omnia.  I can view and edit documents and spreadsheets on it, surf the Internet, and check the weather.  Using SPB Mobile Shell makes it even more user-friendly.  But I have used it so much it's getting worn, and I miss having a keyboard.  I don't text as much as I used to, even with a Bluetooth keyboard.

I'm one of those people who researches for a while before I buy.  I watch for sales, too!  Trips to the local cell store to compare phones, visits to websites to research phones and to check out the latest deals, and my oldest son researching for me have led me to choose the DROID 3.  The buy one get one free deal didn't hurt!

Tomorrow begins a journey to learn a new device.  The more I learn about technology, the more I realize I don't know!  My idea of fun (well, one idea of fun!) is finding new ways to use technology to teach and make my life more productive.

Tech on!
